For organizers adding a pitch contest or demo day to a technical event
Pitch SlateRun a startup pitch contest that judges can score and winners can use.
Enter the block you were given, the judges with what each holds, and what the winner gets item by item. Free in your browser, in the order the skill sets: the three gates first, the prize before the funnel (no item is announced without a named party, in writing, by a date), the conflict rule before anyone reads an application, a format the block can actually hold, and a rubric split into what a judge can observe and what a company only claims. A run writes the plan, or the published call and the judge briefing. Not legal, securities or investment advice: capital and contest law go to counsel, and each judge's obligations to their own institution. The page never suggests a pitch length, slate size, judge count or prize amount.

How it works - and what is sourced
The order is the skill's: the three gates first (capital, a sponsor's say in who pitches or wins, recording without prior notice), each routed and never answered; then the prize, item by item - a named party, in writing from someone with authority, a delivery date, or it is not announced; then the conflict rule, because an investor judge's interest is created by watching, so recusal removes the vote and leaves the access; then the funnel with its route written as a sentence, the format with the block arithmetic, and a rubric split into what a judge can observe in the slot and what a company only claims. The pass threshold is six things in writing with zero blanks before the call goes public.
The four ranked menus and their axis orderings, the observed-versus-claimed split and the pass threshold are the skill's own construction. The arithmetic's shape is borrowed from hackathon-judging; every minute in it, and every weight, is yours (self-set). Published practice is cited as each contest's own choice - TechCrunch Startup Battlefield, SXSW Pitch and Slush on slot shapes, the DevOpsDays organizing guide on the 4-6 week travel floor and on sponsors never buying a speaking slot - never as a target. Not legal, securities or investment advice: capital, convertible instruments and equity go to counsel, contest-law classification goes to counsel whatever the award, and each judge's own disclosure obligations go to their own institution.
